The instrument, worth over $200,000, was to be the centerpiece of the festival’s grand finale—but now its disappearance threatens to ruin the event and the cathedral’s reputation.
Everyone connected to the festival has something to hide: the bitter assistant organist, the ambitious music student, and the treasurer drowning in gambling debts.
